Roxy is a Clinical Psychologist who specialises in understanding behaviours and emotions from the child's perspective, and engages with them on their level. Through a range of specialised assessment tools and evidence-based interventions, children learn to overcome any difficulties and believe in their abilities. Roxy has a passion in supporting Neuro-diverse children and their families to help create a nurturing environment for them to become self-assured and confident individuals, proud of who they are. Roxy prides herself on working collaboratively with families, other health care professionals, as well as education and support staff in order to achieve the best outcome for the young individuals she works with.
Roxy completed her Bachelor of Arts-Psychology at Macquarie University. She went on to complete her PostGraduate Diploma in Psychology at Macquarie University too. After this, Roxy gained experience in a variety of fields through private practice as well as Health Sector roles. Roxy completed her Masters in Clinical Psychology at Wollongong University in 2012 after completing placements across incredible programs including the Child Behaviour research Clinic at UNSW, Rivendell Child Adolescent and Family Mental Health Services, Wesley Private Hospital, and created a parenting program for her Masters Thesis which was used within the Northfields Clinic at the University.
Roxy has owned her own practice for over 6 years now, and has recently moved her Clinic from the leafy suburbs of the North Shore to Randwick, Sydney.
Roxy accesses Monthly Supervision sessions with a fellow Clinician and Colleague in order to maintain her high Clinical and Ethical standards as well as workshops and training sessions every year.
